VISION signed a SR. 220 million Contract in a Riyadh Project

Contract involves providing electro-mechanical works for transport system within Princess Noura Bint Abdurrahman Girls University.

Riyadh - VISION Electro Mechanical Co., a subsidiary of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), has begun implementation of electrical and mechanical works in the automated transportation system project at Princess Noura Bint Abdurrahman Girls University in Riyadh.

Commenting on this contract, Engineer Hassan Chahine, CEO of VISION said: "The automated transportation system inside the University aims to facilitate the mobility between different sectors of the University premises such as the faculties, the administrative quarters, the students' residential facilities and the recreational areas, at a cost SR. 220 million."

Meanwhile, Dr. Faysal Alaquil, Business Development Director of CPC said: "We, at CPC/VISION, are delighted to be a major contributor in the implementation of electrical and mechanical works at the Princess Noura Bint Abdurrahman Girls University in Riyadh project as a subcontractor for Saudi Binladin Group. Alaquil pointed out:” Based on our keen interest to complete the project on time and at the highest level, we have allocated 1500 engineers, technicians and workers to carry out the work within 24 months in time for the May 2011 deadline.”

Engineer Hassan Chahine further added: "The contract of Vision involves electrical and mechanical works at the University campus, including the supply of electric material for the main power plant and the main passenger stations and the bridge between the stations; as well as the maintenance and storage facilities, and power supply to the railway of 11.4 km.”

 

“The work likewise involves the provision of cold water pumps for the refrigeration system and ventilation units and accessories of the power station, the system management facility, and the sewage system, as well as cold water and hot water supplies, heaters and drainage systems in addition to the fire-fighting system," he added.
